Cheap hotel alternative
In my search for a cheap alternative to the hotel, or apartment for friends who come to visit, coincidence came to my aid.
The apartment I selected was not available at the desired time. I asked if the landlord may know someone who also leases holiday accommodation. He gave me an address in a housing estate for assisted living - not a retirement home.
There was an apartment that you can rent for short-term visits. Normally intended for the families of the people living there, but if it is not needed, anyone can go there. I have asked myself, this type of accommodation is possible in many residential complexes for seniors.
Look in the yellow pages and just ask! The night rarely costs over 50 euros for two people.
