Cheese cake II
Recipe for the Cheesecake, for a springform with approx. 26 cm diameter (yields approx. 12 pieces)
Ingredients for the dough
- 200 g of flour
- 125 g of butter
- 75 g of sugar
- 1 egg
- Peel of 1/2 untreated lemon
- 1 pinch of salt
Ingredients for the filling
- 1 kg of quark
- 220 g of sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Cup of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Furthermore: Rolling out flour, shaping butter and icing sugar.
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and after 15 minutes down to 175 ° C.
Preparation of the dough
Pour flour, sugar, pieces of butter, salt and the lemon peel in a mixing bowl and place the egg in the middle. Mix the ingredients, knead the mixture to a lump of dough, wrap in a cling film and put in the fridge for about 1 hour.
Preparation of the filling
Mix all ingredients together for 3 minutes.
Roll out the dough, place in the greased springform pan and "pull up" the dough base to the top of the dish and prick the bottom with a fork. Then add the filling and smooth. Place the dish in the lower part of the oven and bake the cake for 60 minutes at 175 ° C. Then leave for 10 minutes in the oven off and then remove it and allow to cool. Dust with icing sugar as you like.
