Cheese spaetzle for 4 persons

500 g Spaetzle
2-3 onions
400 g of cheese
400 g of ham (optional)

Prepare spaetzle as stated on the package, in the meantime dice onions, cheese and optionally also ham. Before the spaetzle is ready, sauté briefly the diced onions in a pan until they are golden yellow. Then put everything in the pan (careful, the pan must be correspondingly large) and mix vigorously until the cheese is completely melted. In between, season with pepper, nutmeg and / or salt.

All together takes about 45-60 minutes.
