Cherry Sprinkle cake

  • 1 glass of cherries (720 ml)
  • 1 pck. Pudding powder "vanilla flavor"
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 400 g of flour
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 Msp. Baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 egg yolks (size M)
  • 250 g of margarine
  • baking paper


  1. Drain the cherries on a sieve and catch the juice. Mix the pudding powder with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 6 tablespoons of cherry juice. Make remaining cherry juice to 440 ml with water and bring to a boil. Stir in stirred custard powder, bring to the boil and cook with stirring for approx. 1 minute. Then remove from heat and stir in the cherries.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, vanillin sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg yolks and margarine. First mix everything with the dough hooks, then knead with hands to sprinkle. Lay the springform with baking paper and press 2/3 of the dough to a smooth bottom. A small margin also with press.
  3. Distribute the cherries on the ground and spread the rest of the sprinkles over them. Bake in preheated oven at 175-200 ° C for approx. 35-45 minutes. Let cool down. Carefully remove from the paper and ready!

If you like, you can dust the cake with icing sugar before serving it or add a dollop of cream on it!
