Yesterday I baked a cherry crumble cake and I want to tell you this recipe. It is made up of three operations.

Ingredients dough

  • 100 g of butter
  • 1 p. Vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pr. Salt
  • 150 g of flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder (just over 1/2 p.)
  • 50 g of corn starch
  • 4 tablespoons of milk

Ingredients filling

  • 1 glass of sour cherries
  • 1 p. Custard

Ingredients crumble

  • 150 g of flour
  • 75 g of sugar
  • 75 g of butter

Preparation - goes very fast

First we prepare the filling, which has to cool!

  1. From the juice of the sour cherries, pour about 100 ml into a cup and dissolve the pudding powder in it. Put the rest of the juice with the cherries in a saucepan and cook gently.
  2. Now the dissolved pudding powder can be incorporated into the cherries. Please stir until the necessary consistency is achieved. The mass is only slightly thinner than pudding. Then allow the thickened sour cherries to cool to about body temperature.
  3. During the cooling time, prepare the dough. For all the ingredients are stirred well.
  4. Grease springform or spread with baking paper and put in the dough.
  5. The thickened, chilled cherries right on top!
  6. Now mix the ingredients for the crumble well and put in small lumps on the cherries. That's it!
  7. Bake at 180 ° for about 45 minutes and a deliciously fragrant cake will inspire you and hopefully also taste!
