Chicken breast with paprika and tomato vegetables

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot (or wok) and sauté 500 g of chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces without skin on all sides.


Meanwhile, cut four to five yellow and red, spicy peppers into bite-sized pieces and quarter a medium-sized onion and divide into columns. Eighth to eight medium sized tomatoes.

If the meat has a golden color, add the peppers and three minutes later the onion slices and continue to burn shortly.

Deglaze the meat and the vegetables with 2-3 tablespoons water to dissolve the gravy. Add a small tin of chopped tomatoes and a chopped garlic clove and heat. Add the prepared fresh tomatoes and turn off the heat. Make sure that the tomato dumplings do not overcook.


Season with a pinch of sugar, pepper and salt and (dried) oregano and remove the pot from the heat.

1/4 bunch of coarsely chopped basil (alternatively TK-Ware) and, if available, fold in a little chopped, parsley and serve with penne (al dente boiled) or ciabatta.
