Chocolate muffins with nougat filling

This is a simple recipe for very loose, tasty muffins that are made very fast!

Ingredients for 12 muffins

  • 125 g of butter
  • 175 g of sugar
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp. Of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • about 75 ml of milk
  • 12 small cubes hazelnut nougat (about 90 g)
  • grated chocolate, powdered sugar, chocolate or icing as desired

preparation

  1. The oven is preheated to 180 degrees (top / bottom heat).
  2. First mix the soft butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Then add the eggs one at a time and beat each egg for about 1 minute until a frothy mass is formed.
  3. Mix the flour with baking powder and cocoa, add seven and then stir in small portions alternately with the milk into the butter-sugar-egg mixture well. That's it.
  4. Now you fill in the silicone muffin cases or in greased little molds each a large tablespoon of dough, distributed each a cube of nougat on a little mold and finally you fill up the molds with the remaining dough. At your discretion, you can also sprinkle some shredded chocolate over it. Now go for 20 - 25 minutes off in the preheated oven. (Make a stick test!)
  5. Then let the muffins cool on a wire rack. Anyone who has not sprinkled them with grated chocolate may be able to dust the cooled muffins with icing sugar or cover them with chocolate icing or sugar icing.
