Clean carpet fringes
If the carpet fringes are grubby, no more vacuuming helps.
First, put a piece of plastic wrap (cut waste bag, old shower curtain) under the fringe to protect the ground.
Mix one liter of very hot water with 1 tablespoon of washing powder and some liquid bleach.
Put on gloves. Use a sponge and the solution to work the carpet fringes. Be careful not to let the liquid get on the carpet or it could fade.
Dab with clear water and a cloth.
If you are patient, dry with a hair dryer. You can also put old towels under the fringe. In any case, take the plastic away only when the fringes are dry.
