Clean cast iron pans

Cast iron is one of the best and most durable products, but just as heavy in care as in weight. It is important that you rinse them with hot water before first use, then dry thoroughly and lightly grease to prevent corrosion.

Cleaning and care instructions:

Only dry clean! If washing is necessary, do not use detergent! Dry briefly on the hotplate and ALWAYS INSERT THERE, as the corrosion protection will lose its effect after only a short use.

Acidic foods can cause bright spots, but they do not affect the roast quality.

100% cleanliness is simply not sustainable with cast iron. Therefore, the restaurants return their cast iron pans to the manufacturer for refurbishment, which places the good piece in the oven and burns the pan in the oven to remove grease and residue.

Then this sand is re-sanded, then coated with silicone varnish and cured again in the oven. Pan is like new!

It is not for everyone to use a cast iron skillet but the taste that builds up over time is not beatable by other pans.
