Clean glass lid
Glass lids are always very unsightly, despite good dishwashing detergent and good dishwasher. Since baking soda is always an advertised remedy for various problems, I massaged the lids with a damp sponge and plenty of baking soda, then put them in the dishwasher and lo and behold, the lids shone like new.
