Clean stuffed animals with granulate filling

For a few years we have our own hospital bear, i. a bear that accompanies everyone from our family who has to go to the hospital in hospital. Last time, our little art teddy bear (called Roosevelt *) just had to go to the quarantine room. No question - the guy had to be disinfected and cleaned urgently after the hospital stay!

Now I think I have found the ultimate solution: As I said, I had to clean with a disinfectant spray. So that the granules were not soaked with it, I rubbed the bear dry with a coarse microfiber cloth after about 15 seconds exposure time. In addition to the effect that Roosevelt was clean (traces of dirt in the microfiber cloth!) He almost got back his old fluffiness.
* Roosevelt is a bear of the Boyds company, and his coat has polyester (?) Shares.

I do not recommend this tip for Bärchen made of high-quality mohair, because I have not had any experience with their cleaning.
Maybe someone tells us his experiences with this tip!?! Greetings from Roosevelt and us all! We are feeling better again!
