This is not the breakthrough in the household, but it's pretty handy and I came by accident.
At work, my thermos was at some point really calcified. From time to time I always brought extra vinegar essence, which I needed quite a bit to get the jug clean. I use vinegar essence versatile but I have problems with the nose anyway and it is often painful to inhale the steam even minimal.
There was in the work except detergent in the sink or rinse aid for the dishwasher. Have a single drop of it in the pot, hot water, that has ever foamed really good. I then closed the pot, shaken it and looked in after 5 minutes.
And what surprised me, it was not only the lime completely gone, but also those strange dark lines and dots that often form under glass (?) Were gone.
The pot was like new. And only with a single drop and without the vinegar steam.
