Cleaning greasy kitchen shelves: with spray oil (eg Ballistol)
Remove oily deposits in kitchen shelves - or elsewhere -:
Spray surfaces (lightly) with spray oil (Caramba, WD40, Ballistol), wait a short time and wipe off with a kitchen towel. Best with Ballistol ("gun oil"): It has low odor, is above all food-grade and also approved for use in the food industry. Can e.g. be swallowed spoon-free (also recommended as a wound-covering agent and even used by some people to fight stomach upset).
