Cleaning of wooden cutlery and wooden boards

To thoroughly clean wood from grease, oil, meat, onions and other things without it smelling unpleasant afterwards or residues of washing-up liquid in it, you can put half a teaspoon of soda on a rough sponge and put it on the wood with hot water rub. Then rinse with hot water and leave to dry.

Important additional tip for wooden boards: always treat with water from both sides, otherwise the boards will curl up at some point and cracks will be created!
