Close the frozen food bag without a clip

From autumn, there are fewer and fewer fresh regional vegetables in the markets. Eating pumpkin, beetroot or various kinds of cabbage every day makes you full, but not necessarily satisfied. An alternative is frozen vegetables.

Frozen food bags get with me after opening no clip to close. Instead, I cut a "lock" and it works like this:

steps

  1. With scissors I cut the frozen food bag in the upper area to 2/3.
  2. Then I grasp the upper area with one hand.
  3. Now I knot the resulting band by wrapping it once around the combined area.
  4. Done (see photos).

Other benefits include not using a clip that clips tend to material fatigue due to the strong temperature differences. If only a cent article, then plastics are also resources that could be saved. I'm not the super-eco, I came up with the idea once I forgot clips and was too comfortable to run back up from the basement to get something to seal the frozen food bags.
