Coconut macaroons with a difference


  • 250 g of sugar
  • 250 g of grated coconut
  • 4 egg whites
  • Backoblaten


The preparation is a little different than usual, so do not be surprised!

  1. Put the sugar and 150 g grated coconut with the 4 egg whites (do not beat stiffly) in a saucepan.
  2. Heat at low temperature until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the remaining grated coconut.
  3. Spread the mass on baking wafers with a teaspoon.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 ° C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

The macaroons are nice juicy!
