Cold Brew Coffee - cold coffee - iced coffee

Cold coffee or iced coffee can also be unlike before probably the most known. Namely, where instead of heat, you spend time working to get a delicious coffee.
The cold water has a few hours here to develop the aroma of the coffee.
The taste is much more pleasant, gentler and milder. It tastes much less bitter, the aromas develop differently than when the coffee is doused with hot water.
The resulting concentrate can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Grind as coarsely ground coffee, favorite variety, preferably just before preparing to grind. But that does not necessarily have to be, but this will give you a better flavor.
ingredients
- 250 g of coffee powder
- 1 L of cold water
- 1 jug, 1 strainer, 1 cheesecloth or who has used a coffee-jug
After the brewing time
- water
- Sweetener to taste
- ice cubes
- to taste milk ect.
preparation
- Put the coffee powder into the jug / pot and pour over the water, mix well once and put in the fridge for at least 12-24 hours. Best over night.
- The next day, the pulled coffee is poured through a sieve and cheesecloth. (Or just in the can, the powder pressed down). It is now almost a coffee concentrate. The long draw also releases more caffeine.
- Mix the coffee with water 1: 2 or 1: 3, to taste. You can experiment with it, it's completely individual.
Ice cubes make a great iced coffee out of it.
Milk or cream addition to taste.
Sweetening with sweetener of your choice.
