Color easter eggs with food colors
Colorful eggs for breakfast or for the Easter basket without the usual Easter colors.
Colorful eggs (fun for kids):
Yesterday I rummaged through an old book titled "Now is vinegar". I noticed this tip, which I tried out early today.
You need to boiled eggs, vinegar and food coloring.
Boil the eggs as usual, in the meantime bring 1/2 liter of water in a saucepan to a boil, put in a bowl (not necessarily plastic, because of the discolouring) 4 teaspoons vinegar and 4 teaspoons food coloring, add the hot water, stir and then carefully insert the eggs.
Leave to the desired color in the dye bath. You can still polish the eggs with bacon.
When preparing two color baths of different colors, the eggs may be placed on one side e.g. blue and yellow on the other side.
But you have to take each egg individually, that I have not tried. With the color baths you should even be able to paint the eggs.
Maybe someone will try it and pass on his experience.
