Colorful sausage salad according to Bavarian style

This is our colorful sausage salad recipe, we eat it very often in summer and like.

Since we do not like to eat hot on hot days, the sausage salad is very popular with us, nice cold from the fridge, with rolls or pretzels. Most importantly, the ingredients all cut very thinly. We do not cut the sausage into strips, because this reminds us too much of meat salad. We prefer to cut them very thinly, otherwise everything will be too bilious and you can taste the other ingredients much better.

ingredients

  • 1 ring meat sausage or even like Regensburger sausage
  • 3-4 large gherkins
  • 1 large or 2 small onions
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 bowl of cocktail tomatoes
  • Peppers mixed green / yellow / red
  • Radish (unfortunately had no home)
  • for seasoning: vinegar, oil, a dash of pickle water, sweet paprika, pepper and salt
  • if you like you can also cut in some small pieces of Emmentaler cheese (we prefer the salad without cheese)

preparation

  1. Everything as I said cut very thin, put in a large bowl and season with the spices, quietly use more vinegar, the sausage salad should taste a bit sour. The amount I can not specify, since I already have the feeling how much oil and vinegar I mix.
  2. The whole thing should now be mixed well and at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
