Colorful yeast cake

Freshly baked breadcrumbs are great for breakfast on Sundays. Especially if he is still colorful.

ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • Packet of dry yeast
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 60-80g margarine
  • Food colors: red, blue and green
  • Baking parchment

preparation

Make a yeast dough from the specified ingredients. First, sift the flour into a bowl and place a small bowl in the flour with your fist. Put the yeast in the trough. Then warm the milk with the margarine and the sugar in a small pot. The milk should only be lukewarm, please do not cook. Pour some of the milk with the melted margarine and the sugar over the yeast. Now the yeast has to go until it forms bubbles. Only then the rest of the milk and the remaining ingredients in the bowl and knead everything vigorously. Do not use food coloring yet. This comes later. Let the dough go for one to two hours. Knead again vigorously and divide into three equal parts. Color each dough portion with one food color each. Then form three long rolls from the dough and braid into a braid. Looks great and is fresh made just delicious.
