Cook tasty goulash with fix bag - Fix bags can and should be refined with other ingredients.

Recently I heard in the supermarket, how two younger ladies talked about their dinner together. One of them said they only needed to add meat as an ingredient, according to Fix. The other one said that she really wanted to mix some creme fraiche because that's what her mother always does. The other then, ugh, that can not taste with creme fraiche, then an old lady passed them laughing, she said, but still, creme fraiche tastes. I do not know how the two ladies decided afterwards and then I noticed how different some people cook with the Fix bag.

My sister prepares the goulash, for example only after recommended preparation too, so only meat.

Then I thought to myself, as I always refine the fix bag, perhaps others do not or have no idea about it, maybe young students or single men / women who can not cook, etc., sometimes like to fix products and cook according to instructions (unfortunately).

Here I have written down what I mix to goulash, because it always tastes very good, either we eat potatoes, pasta or Indian flatbread ...

ingredients

  • I buy about 500 g meat (mostly beef goulash, or mixed)
  • 2 fix bags, 1x for Hungarian goulash and 1x regular goulash (2 different bags give a better spicy flavor)
  • 3 onions
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 shot of red wine
  • 1 handful of sauerkraut
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Spices: salt, pepper, paprika

preparation

  1. First I wash and dry the meat, then I cut it into smaller pieces.
  2. Cut onions into thin rind and mince garlic.
  3. Fry the meat in a pan of oil, then add the onions and garlic and fry for a short time.
  4. Now add water to Fix Pack Instructions, only about 50 ml less, as you add a small dash of red wine.
  5. Pour in the Fix sachets and mix well, add the tomato paste and the spices and cook for about 45-50 minutes on a small scale (always stir slightly).
  6. Take a handful of the sauerkraut, put it well over the sink and pour it into the pot, mix everything well again and maybe add some water.
  7. After about 60 minutes of cooking, the mixed goulash is ready, with beef goulash it may still be 20 minutes longer.

Fix for spaghetti bolognese I also refine with garlic, onions, some curry and paprika powder and finally grated Parmesan over it.

At Fix Napoli, I mix a small chopped onion and a tin of tuna.

As I said, you should definitely spice up the Fix bag, sometimes just experimenting a bit.
