CPU fan too loud?
The problem is simply in the system. Steel balls that move either in a plastic or ceramic warehouse. If dust comes along, it behaves like sandpaper, which rubs out the bearings and then generates vibrations due to the imbalances.
Solution: Remove the fan, clean it with a vacuum cleaner (better compressed air), pull off the sticker or plastic flap on the back of the fan with tweezers, blow out and drip a drop of precision mechanics oil or sunflower oil onto the exposed bearing. Turn the fan a few times to allow oil to spread. Then clean surface with paper towel properly and put on sticker or plastic cap. Now fan should run a lot more quiet again. This method is only suitable for fans that are not already loud.
