Crafting instructions for a star - also suitable as a fir tree top

For this star you need:

Silver foil or gold foil from the craft supplies, glue and who wants to decorate the finished star with gold or silver glitter. Then another sheet of paper.

In order to make the star in any size, we have to calculate a little bit.

The basic shape (needed 12x) consists of a rectangle that is twice as wide as it is tall.

The rectangle outgoing tip is about twice as long as the rectangle.

The star is twice as large (diameter) as one of these parts.

If you do not understand this right away, first look at the pictures.

When we have made the paper pattern, we cut out this form 12x from the crafting foil.

These pieces are then folded lengthwise each time starting from the point.

Now the rectangle is folded from both sides to the middle fold.

The front side of the star is now glued together. For this purpose, the small triangles on the sides are provided with adhesive by 6 parts and glued together.

When this star is finished and holds firmly together, the back side will work just as well, except that the pieces will be glued to the back of the first star one at a time.

Who wants to brush the star now with glue or paint and sprinkle silver or gold glitter on.

Due to its shape, the star can simply be placed on the top of the fir-tree. To be on the safe side, I would also attach it with some wire.

But he also looks great on a thread in the window or hanging from the ceiling.
