Cream packets - a long-kept recipe from Thuringia
Time
Preparation time: 35 min.
Cooking or baking time: 10 min.
Total preparation time: 45 min.
These cream bags were the hit in a restaurant and I received the recipe from the baker, who unfortunately has already passed away, through detours.
The cream packets are a bit difficult, but worth the try. The hard part is only the fast bag rolling.
Ingredients (15-20 pieces)
For the dough
- 3 eggs
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 g of flour
preparation
- Stir the eggs and sugar until the dough looks twice as big and whitish.
- Sift the flour over it and carefully fold in with a tablespoon.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Lay out a baking sheet with baking paper and place 1 tablespoon of dough on the paper with the help of a teaspoon.
- Please only three, because the Teighäufchen run apart and otherwise you do not create the spin.
- Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the "cookies" in about 8 - 10 minutes golden yellow.
- After baking, take the tin out of the oven, immediately in turn loosen the cookies with a knife from the paper, turn around and quickly turn into bags. I did that only with my hands, but you can also use the stem of a wooden spoon or similar. use for it.
- This work has to go very fast because otherwise the "cookies" will break.
- Continue processing the rest of the dough in sequence as described.
- The bags are filled after cooling with cream.
- You can also add some fresh raspberries.
