Creme Ahoi - fine blueberry dessert with white chocolate

An easy-to-prepare dessert that has a fresh note of creme fraiche and berries, but tastes divine ... my daughter loves TK berries because they "juice" a little more.

In general, I personally take white chocolate instead of the couverture, but if you have no cooling option for the cream, couverture is more skillful, as the higher fat content of the couverture gives the cream more stability. In addition, I prefer to use sour cream instead of crème fraîche, as less fatty ... My brother in law has added this dessert in a slightly modified form even in the menu of his restaurant - Bon appetit!

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 1 package of blueberries (fresh or frozen) - if fresh produce, then add some sugar
  • 100 g of cream
  • 200 g white chocolate
  • 300 g of creme fraiche or sour cream
  • a little ground vanilla bar

preparation

  1. Melt the chocolate (finely chopped) and the cream in a saucepan over a very mild heat (photo), stirring constantly, so that nothing burns and everything melts evenly.
  2. Then remove the pot from the heat, stir in the crème fraîche and vanilla.
  3. Put in the fridge, cool well (about 2 hours).
  4. Before serving the cream alternately with the berries in tall glasses (single portions) or layering everything in a glass bowl (as in the photo) - I always make from 8 servings, otherwise it will be costly.
