Crispy puff pastry with ham and cheese

The crunchy bars are the perfect party cakes and taste great.
Ingredients for about 10 - 12 pieces
- 2 rolls of puff pastry from the refrigerated rack
- 200 g of lean ham cubes
- 2 diced onions
- 150 g of grated cheese
- 1 egg
- Poppy seeds and sesame
- some oil
preparation
- Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the ham.
- Add the onion and simmer for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Let cool down.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and lay out the baking tray with parchment paper. The best way to use two sheets.
- Roll out one of the puff pastry rolls and top with ham-onion mixture and half of the cheese.
- Put the second puff pastry roll on it. Whisk the egg, brushing the puff pastry surface and sprinkle with poppy seeds / sesame seeds.
- Cut the dough sheet into approximately 12 equal strips, then always place a strip on a baking tray and screw in spirally. At the end, sprinkle with some cheese and, if necessary, with poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
