Crunchy chicken is almost alone - at 130 degrees in the oven

Here I have a simple roast chicken recipe, not exactly the low-gin method, but goes in that direction.

ingredients

  • 1 roast chicken
  • Juice of a lemon and 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

spice mix

  • each 1 tsp
  • paprika
  • curry powder
  • ginger powder
  • garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt

For the filling

  • 1 peeled chopped orange
  • 2 thick onions

preparation

  1. You squeeze out orange and lemon and rub the cleaned chicken inside and out with it. Mix the spices and the oil and rub the bird with it. The inside of the chicken is filled with the onion / orange mixture.
  2. Preheat the cooker to 200 degrees, then switch it down to 130 degrees as soon as the chicken is pushed into its roasting pan.
  3. And then you have about 5 hours for the beautiful things in life. As long as you are not too far away from the stove. Because so every three quarters of an hour you should pour the animal with the juice from the roasting pan.
  4. After the specified time you stab with a shish kebab the poor animal under the wing. If the escaping juice is crystal clear, the bird is ready to eat. Golden brown, with a delicate citrus note.
  5. A piece of crispy bread, a green salad with cucumber and dill - that's all you need. The onion mixture from the inside can, but does not have to be served. For sensitive souls please take out beforehand!

Hopefully two club and two breast lovers are sitting at the table!
