Cuddly fleece, teddy fleece, fake fur: new "Aufkuscheln"
We always had the problem that the cuddly fleece jackets of our daughter were gradually flat and thus, of course, seemed thinner, not to mention the Knotchenbildung in cheap products. Likewise the fake-fur coats on hoods, cuffs, etc.
First of all ... of course these things should never be washed with fabric softener, but with special fleece and microfibre detergent. But most people already know that.
We have now found a nice solution and bought us a dog brush and comb from the pet store. Gently comb and brush clothing with it. The fake fur hood edging is especially great - as bought new. The cuddly jackets too. The technology does not help much against the formation of nodules, as the fibers are simply too matted, because the lint remover brings short-term relief.
Not a lot of fluff come out with it, so do not worry that the clothes would have to leave "feathers". But gently brush and comb :-)
Then always wash with special detergent and dispense with the fabric softener - who likes it "fragrant" - rather a scented towel in the dryer and the "hedgehog" with purely in the dryer. Drying with the dryer is also very important for maintaining the "cuddle factor" - but that's nothing new.
