Cuffs from an old sock

Thanks to my washing machine, socks disappear as if by magic. Over time you will have more and more individual socks; and of course never match. With the excess socks but can easily make cuffs for sweatshirts or children pants themselves.

Fold the sock with the foot above the upper stocking. Cut off the toe and heel. The central foot section and the upper sock create two equal rectangular pieces of hose. The two pieces hit and you have two cuffs to mend torn sleeves of sweaters or to sew cuffs for baby and child pants.
