Cup full of lantern flowers - beautiful orange table decoration
I like the beautiful lantern flower, with the botanical name Physalis alkekengi. A perennial that belongs to the nightshade family and now in September has bright orange flowers, like small lanterns.
They feel like paper and are very durable.
A bowl full of flowers replaces the bouquet, you can stick them with needles on a Styrofoam pad, maybe in heart shape.
We are fortunate that she is growing in the garden, but I have also seen lantern flowers in the flower shop. Also very pretty as a splash of color in autumnal Trockenblumensträußen.
