custard apples

In search of a diet-friendly dessert or snack in between, I came up with the idea to simply throw a few apples in the pan.

Goes easy, fast and delicious!

Here are two variants of the "cinnamon apples":

Version 1:
Halve any quantity of apples and cut into thin slices. Place in a nonstick pan (without oil or fat) and sauté briefly (about 2 minutes per side). Then serve on a plate and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Variant 2:
Peel any quantity of apples and cut into very small pieces / cubes. Cook in a saucepan with a little water until they soften (depending on how bite-fast you want them to be). Then press the apples a little bit with a fork to form a kind of compote. Who likes: Serve with (natural) yoghurt in a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon.

By roasting, I find the apples are even sweeter, so you do not need additional sugar and the heat of the apples you have the feeling to have eaten more, as if you just eat the apple just like that.
