Cutting aid for fan potatoes
I would like to introduce my helper to the fan potato cutting. This is an old, about 5 mm thick piece of plywood left over from another project. I sanded it well and rubbed it with coconut oil.
When cutting potatoes, I put the helper on a cutting board and can fan the potatoes so that they are not accidentally cut completely.
The helper with the hole in the middle is so practical for me, because I have both hands free for the fan. I have already tried many things, including a big spoon as a cut-through, but that has always been a shaky affair.
I am not worried about any harmful substances in the plywood, because the piece is already very old and it hardly comes into contact with the potato. In addition, I have omitted painting and vegetable oil for greasing taken. After use, it is rinsed with water and rubbed again with coconut oil.
