Dandelion jam

ingredients

  • 500 g (three handful) of dandelion flowers fresh and flowered
  • 1 lemon
  • 500 ml of water
  • 1 bag of gelatin sugar, ratio 1: 3 or 1: 2

preparation

  1. Remove the clean but not washed yellow petals of the dandelion from the green basket and place in the sun for about an hour.
  2. Pour the petals with the water and add the sap of the squeezed lemon.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for about ten minutes.
  4. Cover the mass covered overnight and chop the next day with a blender.
  5. Then add the gelling sugar, cook for about four minutes and then pour into clean, hot glasses.
