Dandelion Jelly

  • Dandelion flowers
  • lemon
  • Gelierzucker
  • water

This is how it's done:

  • Collect dandelion flowers when it is dry outside - from the meadow, not from the roadside - best are very young flowers.

The other details refer to 100 g dandelion flowers (dry weight):

  1. Water dandelion flowers in the sieve and then bring to the boil.
  2. Then let rest overnight.
  3. Then sieve (durchseien), fill with water to 500 ml, add the juice of a lemon and boil everything together with 500 g of gelatin sugar for at least 4 minutes.
  4. Then pour into hot rinsed glasses and immediately close the lid.
  5. Is also great as a gift (instead of flowers, for example).
