Decorative chestnut candle wreath
The chestnut candle wreath is a beautiful fall decoration for the table, very easy to do and free!
The wreath I made in just 30 minutes and he looks really good. The nice thing is, it is completely free (if you do not count the one hot glue cartridge).
Is needed
- scissors
- 1 piece of cardboard
- Circle (or a round bowl) to measure for the circle
- hot glue
- chestnuts
- maybe some dry moss for the interstices
This is how it's done
- Use the circle to paint a round circle on the cardboard, (you can also use a round bowl for that). Now in the circle a small circle is painted in the middle (as big as the candle).
- Cut the circle carefully as well as the smaller one in the middle, so that later the candle can be put into it.
- Thoroughly clean and dry the chestnuts. But leave the candle in a circle, so that you do not accidentally stick it too far, otherwise the candle would not fit in the end.
- Now it's time to glue it on, preferably from the center to the outside.
- When that's done, you can just put a bit of moss in it wherever you can see cardboard, even small pine cones get in the way.
Have fun!
