Decorative picture frames made of styrofoam trim
Simple Styrofoam trims can be used to create great deco picture frames.
Since I still had a nice trim left, and did not know what I could do with it, I have just made a frame with it.
You need it for that
- Cuttermesser
- ruler
- Craft glue (best polystyrene glue)
- white wall paint
- Styrofoam tray
This is how it's done
- I cut the strip into 4 pieces of equal length and then measured out the corners with the ruler and carefully separated them with the cutter knife.
- Glue the four parts together with the adhesive to a frame and let it dry.
- Later, I painted the strip with a white wall paint, so that it no longer looks like polystyrene and also helps to conceal the pasted corners.
- On eBay I ordered a 12-pack of 3D butterflies as decoration.
