Defrost freezer with hair dryer on tripod
To speed up the thawing process, I set up my camera tripod in front of the fridge. I bring this to freezer level. I swivel the handle of the stand upwards. Now a hair dryer is attached to it (see photo). This is adjusted so that it blows the air in the middle of the freezer. Set the hair dryer to cold or low heat setting.
It only depends on blowing in air, high temperature is not necessary.
Advantage:
No electrical appliances in the freezer and no high temperatures
Disadvantage:
The running noise of the hair dryer annoying in the long run!
