Defrost the freezer
My freezer has a small compartment at the top, in which are two large flat ice packs. The shell can be taken out, but behind it - at the very back of the wall - there is always a lot of ice on the heating rails that you can not turn to.
The other compartments can be washed out well with boiling water. Since my freezer is in the basement, I've seen what I could take this time as an aid, because I get annoyed every time, because not to get it.
In the laundry room my eyes fell on a wire hanger, as you get it in the cleaning. It's long and sturdy enough to poke the ice out of there.
Have tried earlier with a metal roaster, but that was not so good.
