Defrost the freezer quickly and safely

If you defrost freezers, it should be quick, so that the food does not thaw.

So: kettle on, fill a bowl with boiling water and put in the empty and switched off freezer, close the door.

After about 5-10 minutes (depending on the thickness of the ice layer) everything is dissolved. Now you can with a dough card, (the flat part, which one takes when baking to Brattsreichen) easily remove the ice. Then wipe dry and clean again. Do not forget to switch on. Goes very fast and with little effort.

WARNING: Never scrape ice with sharp objects (knives, forks etc.), this can quickly penetrate the plastic and destroy the device.

Who does not have a dough card, can also take the ice scraper from the car, but not with metal edge!
