Delicious dessert without baking: cold dog

ingredients

  • 400 g whole milk couverture
  • 200 g of bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g Palmin
  • 200 g cream 30%
  • 1 pack of biscuits each 200 g, with the 52 teeth
  • 40-50 ml of 40% rum

The preparation

Freeing the couvertures from their packaging and chopping them up is very good if they are nice and warm.

The Palmin also chop small.

The whole chopped couverture and the cream come in a correspondingly large pot, which is gently heated on a hearth. The mass should not come to a boil and only become liquid. So do not do something on the side and then be surprised that the chocolate mass outside the pot moves at once.


Add the 2 sachets of vanilla sugar to the chocolate mixture. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

When the sugar has dissolved properly, you notice that there is no such strange scratching while stirring.

Remove the pot from the heat, stir in the rum, and chill for 45-60 minutes. But again and again to test the consistency of the chocolate mass, it still has to remain spreadable, so that it runs alongside the biscuits. But not too liquid, otherwise the biscuits come up again.


In the meantime, let's take care of the 30g box shape: pull a piece of cling film off the roll, about 50x50cm.

Put a drop of oil in the mold, spread with a brush in the whole form, this leaves the film where it should go.

Insert the foil into the mold. When it does, pretty smooth.


Unpack the biscuits with the 52 corners and set them aside to hand.

Filling the box shape

Spread some of the chocolate mass evenly on the bottom of the mold, place 5 of the biscuits on top, add some of the chocolate mass again and repeat until the chocolate mass is empty.

The last layer should consist of the chocolate mass.

Cover with cling film and then refrigerate overnight.

The next day

Take the box shape out of the fridge, place it on a flat surface (maybe tap it a bit), peel off the foil and place a piece or two of this super calorie bomb on a plate. A cup of coffee, just delicious.
