Delicious fried potatoes

There are many tips for the most perfect, crispy and delicious fried potatoes. But they are not easy to make, certainly not for beginners. That's why my version, which is foolproof and just delicious. Promised :-)

You need:

  • 750 g of potatoes, hard-boiling are the best
  • 4 large onions
  • depending on your preference bacon, I always take 50 g
  • Salt, (possibly spice for potato dishes (Pommessalz or similar), paprika
  • Oil for searing

preparation

Peel the potatoes first and cook in salted water for 10 minutes. Then drain and let cool slightly. In the meantime, cover the baking tray with baking paper and set aside. After cooling, cut the potatoes into 2 mm thick slices and distribute them side by side on the baking tray. Make sure that they are not on each other but on each other. Finally, season with salt and the Pommessalz (goes without), pour a little oil over it and put in the oven at 220 ° C for a good 10 minutes. Depends largely on the performance of the cooker. So look it up best and take out if the slices are brown and crispy.


In the meantime peel the onions and cut into fine half rings and dice the bacon. Put the onion half rings in a large pan and sauté in oil. At the end add the bacon and fry. The time should be adjusted so that the potatoes at the same time as the onion and bacon mixture is done, because now the potatoes are added to the pan in the pan and carefully mixed. Season again with salt and a little paprika and voilá.

These are suitable for fried eggs or for the, the amount of eggs like two eggs directly in it and let falter.

Quantity is enough for 2 persons.
