Vinegar-cucumber water (no matter what kind) I do not pour away, but use it for my delicious vinegar and herbal eggs.

For this, boil 10 eggs quite hard, peel them and then place them in a large screw-cap, which previously with the vinegar cucumber water, a small glass of brown balsamic vinegar, mustard seeds, a pinch of sugar, 1 bay leaf, 1 tbsp Italian herbs, fresh herb sprigs (according to taste) as well as salt and a few splashes of Worcester sauce, was filled (you can also add dried peppers and / or tomatoes!).

The next day, the eggs have taken on the aroma and a nice light brown color, you can eat them for the "small hunger", with or on bread, or just for "in between".

In addition, the eggs in the screw jar or a large mason jar look very appetizing and decorative and they hold by the vinegar for quite a long time (unfortunately not with us, because they are always eaten quickly.
