Descale Senseo
How to descale a Senseo coffee pad machine:
- In a measuring cup mix 50 g of citric acid with 1 liter of water and stir until the powder completely dissolves.
- Fill the water reservoir of the Senseo up to the MAX mark with the decalcifying fluid.
- Press the on / off switch and wait until the operation indicator lights up continuously.
- Place the pad holder for a single cup with a used (!) Coffee pod in the coffee machine and close the lid.
- Place a slightly larger vessel (capacity> 1 liter) under the spout to catch the descaling solution.
- Press the two-cup button and let the machine run. Repeat this until the water tank is empty.
- Repeat the entire process, so that at least 2 liters of descaling mixture go through the machine.
- Rinse the water tank thoroughly with tap water. Then fill to MAX with tap water and run once through the machine.
- Repeat the last step.
- Remove the used pad and clean the pad holder.
