Dibbelabbes for 2 persons

Peel 6-8 large potatoes and chop them with a grater (in Saarland "rabbe"!). Pour the mass resulting from this into a sieve and drain into a bowl. After draining, scrape the starch out of the bowl and add it back to the mass (binder). There is also an egg, breadcrumbs, diced dried meat and spices (pepper, salt, Fondor / Maggi). Optionally, to taste, leek can also be added. The whole comes in a pan and is fried over medium heat until a golden brown crust has formed and the dough is of course cooked.

As a side dish: applesauce or pudding.
