Distribute round pieces of sausage or ham on square toast

To avoid having to burn the ham or sausage slice when baking, I've gotten into the habit of quartering the big slices and then distributing those quarters on the square toast so that the corners are on the outside. So I can then continue to prove (for example, the pineapple for Hawaii toast) and in the end put the cheese on top and nothing hangs over the edge of the toast and can burn in the oven. If this description is not clear, look at the pictures.
