Dry laundry in a small space

In small student stalls or the like, which offer no space for a tumble dryer or when a lot of laundry is required, the following inexpensive method has proven itself:

Hang laundry on a normal clothes horse and put it in front of the window (tilted) or in winter in front of the warm radiator.

Place a fan on the floor in front of the laundry rack, preferably a medium-sized model with an automatically tilting fan (about 50 watts of power per hour).

Then go to the seminar. A few hours later, the laundry is already dried by the permanent draft (as in the wind) and can be hung off.

Oh yes, power consumption only one kilowatt hour (= about 25 cents) in 20 hours of operation.
