Dryer reports "empty container" - what to do?
Dear desperate owner of a heat pump dryer: Report your dryer after 1 minute of drying "The container is full"?
Then I may have found a simple way to fix the problem without having to screw around. Of course, all this is without guarantee and compliance with this tip is at your own risk!
Take 1 liter of warm water and 4 denture cleansing tablets (preferably with active oxygen).
that's how it works
- Take out the water tank and disconnect the device (unplug the plug).
- In 1 liter of warm water, dissolve 4 denture cleansing tablets and tip into the water inlet at the top (do not use more than 1 liter, otherwise everything will overflow, better use a funnel)
- Allow to soak in for 1-2 hours (duration depending on the degree of soiling).
- Then plug in the machine, put the water tank back in and select the program, but without starting the program. After 2 seconds, the pumping should start by itself.
- Empty the water container after it has finished pumping.
- Steps 1-5 WITHOUT TABLETS Repeat with clear water only several times.
Please do this very carefully and take care that not too much water is used or that water runs out somewhere.
After that should be in the water tank properly many lint, so properly dirty water in it. This is a good sign, because then the water pump should be freed from the many lint and everything will work properly again. That's exactly what worked for us.
