Dutch stew

ingredients

  • 4 Mettwursts
  • 500 g onions
  • 500 g of carrots
  • 500 g potatoes
  • granulated broth to taste
  • about 1/2 liter of water

preparation

Slice the sliced sausage and fry in a large saucepan. Peel or clean the onions, carrots and potatoes and cut into slices of the same size (preferably in a food processor, but also with a knife). Then first the onions, then the carrots and finally the potatoes in the pot layers. The grained broth (it may be a little more, since this is the only spice besides the sausage!) Dissolve in water and pour into the pot. Cover it, let boil up briefly and then simmer for about 20 minutes. Stir at the end, season, ready!

Is a very cheap and delicious stew. You can cook the recipe with a larger or smaller amount, but then extend or shorten the cooking time accordingly.

Another tip for vegetarians: tastes great without the sausage, then stop with herbs and maybe pepper.
