Dye blackened T-shirts or cotton things black

Who has not experienced that a beautiful colorful T-shirt has an ugly fruit stain that just does not want to go out, usually still front on the chest, so you can see it too. I also managed to decorate a new yellow pants with tomato sauce and after stain removal, the stain was then lighter than the rest.

If things are too good to throw away or put on for house cleaning, then you can just dye them black in the washing machine. To do this, take a textile-fast color from the drugstore (Simpli ...) and a kilo of the cheapest table salt and follow the instructions on the packaging, ie dye and then wash and possibly remove residues of paint from the detergent compartment.

Then you have just a new shirt and pants, only in black - black, because you would still see stains on other colors, just not at Tiefschwarz.

But you have to keep in mind that it only gets really black with cotton, blended fabrics tend to be gray-mottled and the seams usually do not take on the color, because the thread is synthetic. With jeans but no problem, because you often have different colored stitching and before you throw away the pants, that's always better. If the differently colored seams disturb you, you can carefully paint them with thin black edding.
