Easter nest from coffee mug DIY ~ DIY

At Easter there are plenty of plastic Easter baskets in the supermarkets. I can not stand her. On the way back I had a coffee to go. Now I came home with this white paper cup and immediately recycled it. This promptly became an Easter basket.

Easter eggs made of white paper cups look really great and are filled with a few treats a nice idea as a gift for Easter. But even for the little kids, the cups are great. They can be carried well with small hands and the easter egg hunt for the little ones can start.

First I washed out the cup and decorated it with colored tape. You can also paint the cup. At the top of the cup, small holes for the handle are drilled on the right and left with a chestnut drill. As a handle, a pipe cleaner is pulled through these holes. Before that, a short piece of straw is pushed over the pipe cleaner as a handle. The stalk should not be quite as wide as the upper diameter of the coffee mug. Fill in some moss or straw, eggs and chocolate and you're done with a sweet Easter surprise.

This is needed:

  • paper cups
  • Colorful washi tape or decorative tape
  • Colorful straws
  • pipe cleaners
  • scissors
